Ammonium sulfate
Ammonium sulfate is a highly efficient nitrogen fertilizer with a high sulfur content. It is used for growing the most common grains, oilseeds, feed and vegetable crops. Ammonium sulfate stimulates the growth and development of plants, improves product quality, and reduces the risk of increased nitrate in products. The nitrogen in ammonium sulfate exists in the form of ammonium and is highly effective in long-term nitrogen nutrition systems. Accelerate the decomposition of crop residues and enhance soil fertility. When treating crops with plant protection products, it is recommended to add ammonium sulfate to the herbicide solution after emergence to enhance the effectiveness of weed control by reducing the alkalinity of the water.

Ammonium sulfate is an acidic fertilizer. It can increase the acidity of the soil, so care should be taken when using it in acidic soils with alkaline fertilizers, such as wood ash, phosphate rock powder, or calcium magnesium phosphate. It should be used in neutral and alkaline soils to prevent calcium ions from combining with sulfate ions to form insoluble calcium sulfate (gypsum), causing soil hardening, and should be applied together with organic fertilizers.
